This week the new thing that I tried was… Brunch for Easter at the El Encanto.
Usually each year I eat brunch with my best friends family and my own. We usually eat at this hotel near the beach, but this year we switched things up. The El Encanto is a restaurant on the Rivera and before this I have only eaten there once. That was a dinner.

When we got there, decorations were everywhere and a woman was singing. I loved her voice and her song choices were great. I was really impressed. There even was an “Easter bunny” walking around for the younger people.
The day was great. It was sunny and clear. The Channel Islands were very visible and it was just the right temperature.
When we sat down I was a bit blinded by the brightness of the sun reflecting of the the white table cloth. The service the whole time was great and everyone seemed happy and like they were having fun.

They had a beautiful buffet out with a breakfast, lunch, seafood, and treat section. Most of the treats I was confused with. They were so fancy.
On the seafood table I got crab and lobster. It was pretty tasty and the table was emptied so quickly.

My best friend and I do the same thing every year, we get breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We do this in order. So we practically eat three meals all during our brunch. It has worked pretty well so far.
Once again, like in the past years, it was a great brunch and the company was very nice. There is always good conversation and it is something that usually is the same every year. The tradition makes it even better.
After we finished eating, we opened the crackers. They are these tubes that two people pull. One person on one side and one on the other. It makes a pop and usually a paper crown, a mini toy, and a joke pops out. I think they are British, but I am not really sure.

We all opened them and out popped a little wind up bunny that jumps around. All the jokes were told, we put on our crowns, and called it a day.
Overall I would say this was a great place to do brunch. There weren’t too many people that it was really loud, there was good weather, great service, tasty food, and an amazing view.

10/10
What (if anything) did you guys do this year for Easter?
Till next time…
