This week the new thing I tried was… making frozen yogurt!!!
I scream, You scream, We all scream for ice cream… (or frozen yogurt)
I got this recipe from Tasty.co and it is a Healthy Mango Coconut Frozen Yogurt. The whole process took me about Two and a half hours, but only half an hour of work. It takes two hours in the freezer and all the work is blending the ingredients together as well as pouring it into a pan.
I went to Trader Joes and bought the ingredients, then got to work. When I was getting the yogurt, I couldn’t decide at first if I should get plain or vanilla, whole or half. Eventually I got plain whole greek yogurt.

Ingredients: (for 4 servings)
- 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 3 cups of mango (frozen)
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions/ Preparation:
- First- Combine all of the ingredients into a food processor or a high speed blender. Then blend or process it all the ingredients together
- Pour the mixture of blended ingredients into a pan and smooth it into an even layer.
- Put this pan into the freezer and freeze for 2 hours, or until frozen but still a bit soft for scooping. (If you are freezing overnight, cover the pan with a lid or plastic wrap, but let the frozen yogurt to sit outside the freezer at room temperature for around 5-10 minutes before scooping.)
- Scoop into a bowl and top with any toppings you want!
- Enjoy!!!
When I went to blend it all together, the honey stuck to the side a little bit. It was an easy fix though since I only had to scrape it off with a spoon.

I blended it all, poured the mixture into the pan, and stuck it into the freezer. When I pulled it out two ours later, the frozen yogurt was a bit too frozen. I left it out for about six minutes and it was soft enough to scoop.

The frozen yogurt was actually pretty good and held together very well. I would definitely make this recipe again. It made a great amount and was way easier than I thought making frozen yogurt would be.

Have you ever made frozen yogurt?
