Flippin’ quick

This week the new thing I tried is… banana pancakes!

Finally, its time to do some food related things. I got this recipe from my cousin. When I made it, I was really shocked. I can stand bananas, I will eat them, but they aren’t my favorite. EXPECIALLY with my carbs! Still I tried making it anyways, and I am glad that I did. It was so tasty and it was filling. The banana pancakes are perfect for breakfast, but in this case I ate them for desert.

The ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 banana
  • oil (butter, coconut oil, vegtiable oil, and whatever else floats you boat.
  • Cinnamon (optional, but add it if you want it to be edible)

Supplies:

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 fork
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1plate
  • 1 stove top pan (and obviously the stove)

I loved this recipe so much since it was delicious and it was so simple. The clean up is so easy and there are so little ingredients. It is also pretty healthy so that’s also a plus. Healthy Pancakes! Ok now I’ll actually explain how to make them.

  1. Take the oil or butter and put some on the pan so it doesn’t stick, then put it on the stove. The stove can be at whatever temperature you think is best, but I turned it half or a bit more.
  2. Take the banana and peel it, break it into around three pieces. Then take the fork and mash it up (like really mash it). Once it looks like baby food yours good.
  3. Next take the two eggs and put them in with the mashed banana (I assume y’all know, but NOT with the shell). Then whisk it and mix the banana and egg together completely. Then add in the cinnamon, no particular amount. Whatever you feel is a good amount, then stir it in. The batter is done!
  4. Since the stove has been on and heated the pan, your all set. I took the plate and put it right next to the stove so I could just put the pancakes down when they are done.
  5. Poor the batter for the pancakes onto the stove and do what you would usually do when making pancakes.
  6. After all the pancakes are done and on the plate, they are done.
  7. The rest is optional: since I did this fro desert, I put neutella and blueberries on it. Anything really can go on it. Almond butter, syrup, agave, fruits, and more!

Those are the steps for banana pancakes. I really like how it is mostly egg since I usually eat and egg or two for breakfast, now I can use this recipe and still get the eggs.

This was a really fun recipe and I can’t wait to try more new things.

Have you ever made these, or do you have any other cool recipes?

Till next time…
